Yes, yes, yes, next Sunday night, November 22, after the Parade of Lights is over, just about 8:00 PM, Sundance Square will have even more sparkle as the annual Christmas Tree Lighting takes place. Walk over from the parade route to Sundance Square Plaza, 410 Main, in downtown Fort Worth.
We can all celebrate the start of the holiday season as we watch the lighting of Fort Worth’s beautiful, live, 58′-foot tall Christmas tree. Oh, but how everything is going to sparkle and shine. There will be a holiday carols sing-a-long, too. All the good times are free.
If that’s not enough to get you into the Christmas spirit, you can enjoy a hot chocolate before you and the kids visit with Saint Nick. A photographer can document the happiness of the event, but there’ll be a charge. No matter your age, you can get a picture of you and the Grand Old Elf–documentation for posterity. Keeping that youthful spirit is something we all want to do. Spreading good cheer and joy is the Texas way.
