Tango Exhibition and Music at the Modern’s First Friday

Ah, the tango–what a sensuous, romantic dance. If you are a devotee of this stirring dance and its music you’ll want to be at the Modern Museum of Art tonight to hear tango music as performed Glovertango Duo .
Annie saw tango dancers in the streets of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Such grace, and, frankly, very sexy. Dancers Nasrin Barmaki and Hassan Parsa, from TangoAmor will be your guides as they showcase this expressive dance form. Wonder if they’re from Argentina.
After this First Friday musical experience, you may want to go into the auditorium at 8:00 PM to listen to music by the Austin Piazzolla QuintetThere is limited seating, and this performance requires an admission ticket: $15, $10 for students and Modern members.
