I love “Tea and Talk” at the Sid Richardson Western Museum, held the first Wednesday of every month, at 12:30 PM. No reservations are necessary; just show up.
It’s usually a small group, usually no more than six or eight, who gather to look at works in the Museum, participate in a guided discussion led by Leslie, and sample goodies–cookies and tea–after we run out of things to say. Well, to fully confess, the group doesn’t run out of things to say, but we do limit our verbal input as tea time draws nigh.
Right off Sundance Square at 309 Main Street, the Sid Richardson Museum of Western Art is one of the city’s gems. There is no charge; it’s totally free. Parking is not; you’ll have to pay for it.
