Learned that the temp had dipped to 27 degrees this morning from reading my outdoor/indoor thermometer. My, oh, my, but it’s a good day to stay inside, change the sheets and towels, scrub the sink, and have another cup of coffee. Maybe for a change, you’d welcome a cup of hot tea; even better, a steaming cup of hot chocolate with a muffin.
Speaking of change, maybe you could try something new after you finish your chores; break out of your routine. Remember Mark Twain’s philosophy regarding change? To refresh your memory, chew on this. “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”It may be driving a different road/street when you head out to buy your groceries. Perhaps, you’ll go to a different store to buy your food, or maybe it’ll be exploring our beautiful, exciting world.
Be flexible, dear hearts.
