Sketching at the Modern

DRAWING FROM THE COLLECTION

Yes, we all know who you are. Our friend the shy artist. The one who longs to do something artistic, but is just too afraid, too busy, too broke, to take private art lessons.  Put all your cares, concerns, and/or worries aside this Sunday afternoon, March 6, 2-3:30 pm. It’s going to be an special time when you and your inside artist meet with artist instructor Erika Duque to take a drawing lesson at the Modern Art Museum.

This is only your first chance. You’ll be able to learn with several local artists as they lead informal basic drawing classes in the galleries. This free class is open to adults at all skill levels—just bring a sketchbook and pencils. If you don’t have a sketchbook, bring some copy paper. No one is going to criticize you. Registration is not required, but participants should sign in at the information. Annie encourages you to sign in 10-15 minutes before the class begins.
Annie Ambles wishes you a happy experience
