You’ll want to register for the 4th. Annual Senior Synergy Expo before April 28 to guarantee a free box lunch and parking. Call 817-884-1234 to register, or register online, like Annie just did, at http://www.SeniorSynergyExpo.com. Annie has been to one of these events and had a great time.
Tarrant County Judge Glen Whitley and Cigna invite you to come to the Expo to learn about the services available in Tarrant County that empower boomers, seniors, and caregivers to live a healthier lifestyle. Sounds like a really good thing to do. You just need to be 50 or older or a caregiver to get in.
The Expo opens at 8 AM on Thursday, May 5, at the Will Rogers-Amon G. Carter Jr. Exhibits Hall, 3400 Burnett-Tandy Drive, in Fort Worth 76107. It’ll continue until 1:30 PM. There are free health screenings like dental, blood pressure, vision testing, fall risk/balance assessment, mammograms and many more. The keynote lunch speaker is Ana Martinez from Facebook who will discuss online safety and privacy issues. Workshops include Healthy Cooking Demos, Medicare and Medicaid Fraud and Abuse, and Aging Gracefully. Now, I ask you. Who doesn’t want to age gracefully? I’m all ears.
More than 100 exhibitors will fill the Exhibits Hall with new or favorite products. Participants usually receive bags that can be filled with all kinds of free goodies and samples. But, you won’t have the chance to be there unless you pre-register.
