More is always better. Right? If you’re a fan of double dip ice cream cones, two or more pizza slices, and the free refillable coffee cup, you’re Annie’s kind of person. Taking that into consideration, just think how wonderful it is going to be tonight to have music provided to us by two of Fort Worth’s fine jazz groups.
Sundance Square’s Band on the Bricks should be called Bands on the Bricks tonight as the Paschal High School Jazz Ensemble plays in downtown from 5:00 until 6:00 PM. Young musicians play their hearts out. Annie for one is grateful. You can buy food and drink to eat in the Square, too, between the two performances.
After a thirty minute break, the East Fort Worth Community Jazz Ensemble takes the Sundance Plaza Stage at 6:30 PM and plays until 8:00 PM. More jazz to lift your spirits and get your feet tapping. Annie hopes the weather cooperates, especially after last night’s storm blew through downtown.
You will need to pay for parking if you come for the 5:00 PM performance, but after 6 PM, it’s free on the streets and in some lots. Please, please, please, pay for that hour and don’t chance getting a ticket. The traffic citation bicycle people come by every 10-15 minutes. Believe you me, you will get a parking ticket if you don’t pay.
